Looks from Lagos Canvas
Lately, Lagos has become a staple in fashion discussions. Its eclecticism is a marvel; a home to brands known for woven textiles like the Akwete of Hertunba and Emmy Kasbit or the Aso oke of ESO By Liman and Cynthia Abila. Around the world, these brands are celebrated, and to kick off the new year, Mo Abudu brought the celebration home.
On the 19th of January, at the British Deputy High Commissioner's Residence in a breathtaking fusion of fashion and beauty, the second edition of the Lagos Canvas runway was unveiled. A display of vivid tapestry of art, culture, and creativity.
British Deputy High Commissioner Jonny Baxter, in partnership with Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife Media, prepared an evening connecting fashion and artistry in their purest form. The event was a fearless embrace of color, texture, and innovation.
